15.24m at 5.35g/t Au as MHC Expands Along Strike and at Depth

The first drilling results in 50 years at Spectre have delivered spectacular grades and set up the perfect base for Manhattan Gold Corporation (ASX: MHC) to test strike and depth extensions, with the first hole returning 19.81m at 1.77% Cu, 0.80g/t Au, 84.3g/t Ag and 2.30% Zn from 42.67m, including 6.1m at 3.18% Cu, 1.37g/t Au, 147.9g/t Ag and 1.35% Zn (6.83% CuEq) from 45.72m. A second hole 77m southwest intersected 6.10m at 1.10% Cu, 0.27g/t Au, 88.3g/t Ag and 3.34% Zn (3.44% CuEq) from 73.15m. There is now over 340m of drill defined strike that is open and showing excitingly similar geological characteristics to the McIlvenna Bay project in Saskatchewan, which contains a 38.6Mt at 1.19% Cu, 2.18% Zn, 0.41g/t Au and 14.4g/t Ag (2.02% CuEq) deposit and was recently acquired for C$3.8 billion. Assays are also pending from 3 other key prospects at Hook Lake that MHC dropped holes in, all of which would be brand new discoveries if they hit anything. These include Omega – which has geophysical signatures analogous to the gigantic 8.34Moz Meliadine deposit under 200km away, and consists of a massive 7km by 1km BIF which is 6km along strike from Jaws. The exposed quartz veins at Quantum and Lotus have also been drilled, where surface rock chips have reached 16.75g/t Au, 1485g/t Ag and 0.47% Cu. There are also further assays pending from Jaws, where MHC recently struck incredible grades of 41.15m at 4.66g/t Au from 83.82m by drilling the main shear zone, with later assays also hitting 74.67m at 1.61g/t Au from 21.34m, including 15.24m at 5.35g/t Au from 35.05m.

The dollar figures of contained metal across these assays are incredible, with the headline 19.81m assay having US$610/t of contained metal value, and the super high grade snippets are more than adequately surrounded by levels of mineralisation that are mine worthy provided MHC can hit a few extensions. Removing the highest grade 6.1m intersection still leaves a combined 13.71m averaging 1.14% Cu, 0.55g/t Au, 56g/t Ag and 2.73% Zn (3.14% CuEq) across the remaining portions, confirming that substantial metal content remains outside the highest grade section. MHC has been able to test the continuity of shallow existing mineralised lenses at Spectre, with the headline assays being contained within a broad sulphide zone that returned 82.3m at 0.45% Cu, 0.21g/t Au, 22.7g/t Ag and 1.26% Zn from 38.10m (1.28% CuEq), encompassing massive sulphide lenses and surrounding veinlets and disseminated sulphides. A separate shallow zone returned 19.82m at 5.55% Zn from 9.14m, including 7.62m at 13.98% Zn from 10.67m and 3.05m at 29.50% Zn from 12.19m. This gives MHC a high grade zinc lens above the copper, gold and silver rich lower zone, with both providing targets for follow-up drilling along strike and beneath the shallow area tested so far.

Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) systems typically tend to form in clusters, and there is a litany of them in Canada – with the prolific region hosting over 350 separate deposits. Spectre’s VMS lenses contain sphalerite and chalcopyrite alongside pyrite and lesser galena, with several lenses interpreted to follow the bedding of the volcanic host rocks. The change from zinc rich upper mineralisation to stronger copper, gold and silver below gives MHC a geological pattern to test as it follows the system deeper, beyond historical drilling that reached around 61m vertically and further than the shallow depths reached with this campaign.

Going below 60m vertical depth at Spectre with modern drilling was always going to be a tremendously exciting opportunity, and this round of assays has confirmed the historical grades and structure, extended mineralisation, made headways into finding the feeder system that has led to the three stacked lenses of up to 20m thickness defined in historical drilling, and built the geological comparison with McIlvenna Bay, which has 5 lenses, some of which are stacked. There is a lot to explore in general at Spectre given its previous drill holes were inside of a 1km mineralised footprint that sits within a 7km corridor, and contain the full breadth of polymetallic commodities with historical assays such as 10.51m at 2.91% Cu, 6.70% Zn, 95.67g/t Ag, 1.04g/t Au and 0.48% Pb from 41.76m, as well as 13.71m at 1.51% Cu, 2.06% Zn, 47.23g/t Ag, 0.56g/t Au and 0.09% Pb from 70.26m.

Omega sits 6km northeast of Jaws, and is a Banded Iron Formation (BIF) prospect that is covered in geophysical evidence of selective sulphidation – a key chemical reaction that indicates the potential for gold to have been precipitated in an excitingly similar style to Meliadine, through boiling hot mineralised fluids coming into contact with BIFs and replacing the magnetite with sulphides which have strong potential to contain high grade gold. The historic IP and EM anomalies show this exact type of reaction that occurs when a BIF hosted gold deposit forms. While Meliadine and Jaws are both structurally controlled, shear-associated systems where gold is closely tied to quartz veining, and the two prospects share many of the same mineralised rock types, most of the contained ounces at Meliadine are found in BIFs – which has also been seen at Jaws but is truly prolific at Omega. This makes Omega an extremely exciting prospect for MHC to have drilled, and again reinforces the valuation discrepancy that appears to not be pricing any chance of Meliadine-like structures or grades lying beneath this massive target.

MHC ran a surface sampling program in 2025 at Quantum and Lotus that achieved extremely high grade results, with results up to 16.75g/t Au, 1485g/t Ag and 0.47% Cu across 67m at the former, and results up to 8.01g/t Au and 2660g/t Ag across 66m at the latter. Neither of these prospects had previously been drilled, and both are orogenic gold quartz vein systems like Jaws – presenting notable potential for turning into frontier exploration opportunities. There are plenty more high grade results from both prospects, such as 14.05g/t Au, 1385g/t Ag and 0.32% Cu at Quantum and 3.8g/t Au and 761g/t Ag at Lotus – and MHC has long considered both vein systems as having strong upside for discovery potential.

A $15 million market cap appears to be an insane valuation with the amount of success that MHC has had in its exploration thesis across its two flagship prospects, which are exposed to an extremely attractive mix of commodities, the bulk of which is made up of copper, gold and silver, with a shallow zone extremely rich in zinc. The recent $4.5 million placement at $0.02/share has bolstered the company’s cash balance and was significantly backed by clients of Gavin Rezos’ Viaticus Capital and MHC management – which accounted for $1.86 million.

Copper is trading around US$14,300/t while smelters face increasingly intense competition for concentrate, which is stemming from a long term trend of concentrate supply dropping while smelting capacity is expanding. Annual benchmark treatment charges fell from US$80/t in 2024 to US$21.25/t in 2025 and to zero in 2026, with spot charges having now flipped negative to -US$141.79/t at the start of June and -US$232/t in late August – meaning smelters have to effectively pay for the right to process concentrate. China’s refined copper output growth could slow to 3-3.4% this year from 10.4% in 2025, as concentrate and scrap shortages restrict feedstock, which will ultimately tighten refined metal availability. These are excellent conditions for supporting further work on Spectre’s potential to supply copper concentrate containing gold and silver credits, and pending metallurgical testwork on the samples from this campaign will begin establishing recoveries and concentrate quality.

Hook Lake is shaping up into an extremely fertile tenement package with a greenstone belt that MHC has been meticulously covering with modern exploration data that is delivering exemplary results at the drill bit. With a bolstered cash balance and very compelling targets to follow up on, MHC has a clear pathway to digging deep into how prosperous this project really is – and there is too much encouraging data right now for the company to be sitting at its current valuation.
